This is a commission from tumblr which features my OC's Mako and Mauler, wherein the two underlings of Koloss are tasked with capturing a scientist on a remote island. But in order to get him off said island, Mako will have to keep him "very close"...

Took some time in-between working on stuff to read this one. Replying in-between things, too, so I'll need to make this quick.
I'm very glad I didn't work on you-know-what till I read this; I really love Mako and I love the relationship he has with Mauler. They're both fun characters; Mauler here, especially, is equal parts amusing and downright horrifying. I love how he has such a one-track mind, and is somehow even more animalistic than the freaking shark-guy. XD
As for Mako himself, I like what a "chatterbox" he is, and how he takes his job seriously, but there's a lot of humor to him, mostly due to him being just a tiny bit slow. He's not quite the animal Mauler is, but he's not quite as smart as Koloss, either...and Koloss isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, to begin with, so I'm not quite sure WHERE that puts Mako in the brains department. Nevertheless, the three do all feel different from one another; I like how Mako has kind of a childish side to him, almost like an oversized jock or something. And figures that a giant shark would have appetite problems of his own, even after working so hard to keep his partner under control.
Sorry if that response rambled a touch; again, wrote it in a bit of a hurry. XD Great work as always!
Sincerely,
The Cheshire Cat's Master
