She's so beautiful and elegant! Definitely want to see more of her! Hopefully even figure sketches!

With characters who are not part of a story i rarely draw them again (not counting versions/variations on the pic)...but sometimes i do draw a nameless character a 2nd and then 3d time and then some sense of a story and personality start to emerge...and before i know it i can hear them speaking, see the story they're going through and i draw a few panels and - i end up with yet another story i will never live long enough to draw. So i'm pretty cautious about drawing characters a second or third time. But Red is on the verge...she told me her name early on so that should have been a warning sign.

i will post pencils after i run out of the exiting alternate version, also have been thinking of posting some of the "Martin The Warrior" storyboard pages, more cartoon pin-up stuff, and (shudder) my teenage superhero stuff (shudder). ^_^

That happy loving smile was the focus of the later versions of the pic...a little bit inspired from some of the last scenes of "Out Of Africa" with a young Maryl Streep, with the wind and sun in her hair and a wistful smile.

i'm very happy with this version. i have no plans for a v4, nor a clue what it might be like. ...but i try to surprise myself sometimes, so who knows...?
