I had Pokèmon Silver as a kid. Got it for Christmas when I was really young, so I forgot I even had it. A few years later, when I was about 10, I found it while digging through some boxes. I didn't even know it was mine at first. But I started a new save (I should've looked at what was on the old one first), and began my Pokèmon journey. This game got me back into Pokèmon, and I've been obsessed ever since. This was my Typhlosion from Silver. My first Pokèmon. I levelled him to 100 with no rare candies or cheats.

On 2013, April 08, the battery to my Pokèmon Silver died and I lost everything, including my first shiny (Not Gyarados). My first shiny was a Krabby in Pokèmon Silver. I miss that save.
