Okay, I'm starting to get a little sick of seeing it in sketch form so I think it's time to think about inking this one.
No doubt I'll find more things I wanna fix later on (Felicia's leg still bothers me a little) but I'm more or less satisfied with it at this point.
Changes:
-Adjusted the perspective, rotation, and scale of the background;
-Slightly rotated Violet and adjusted positions on both characters;
-Changed Felicia's arm position and angle of her foot;
-Changed dress and sword sheath positions.
I'm a little unsure about the tail of the dress going between Violet's legs. It looks slightly questionable. Hopefully it'll look right when it's coloured though. Here's the reference sheet to give you a better idea of how it looks: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2537390/
Anyway, I'm gonna start work on this inks for this, but feel free to point out anything else you see :)

I absolutely love Felicia's expression and pose. I understand your indecision with Violet's dress tail, but truly, the only other option is to have it not there at all and then you are left with a large piece of cheesecake arse stealing the eye and would therefore steal some of the energy of the piece. Its great how it is, finish more!
Felicia's basically a data thief. Any data or information (sometimes objects) that can't be gained externally, she'll infiltrate and steal. Her codename White Shadow is what is known across a network of 'stealthing agencies' that do jobs such as this for various clients. I guess you could say it was like a mercenary network, though the needs of clients vary widely and certain agents only take on certain jobs. Felicia has her own reason for taking on the role, of course.
Violet, on the other hand, is part of a large crime syndicate (still working out the finer points on this though). She's the right-hand to her boss and often deals with 'clean-up' should a deal go poorly or someone needs assassinating. She's largely unmatched in terms of skill for what she does, and see's Felicia as her direct rival. She thoroughly enjoys combat with her, and wants to know what makes her tick. In some twisted way she considers her like a sister, but by that logic she sees Felicia as the only one truly worthy of her blade and will mess with her every way she can before finally going in for the kill. I suppose in some way she's testing Felicia to see if she will break before then.
Both are highly skilled in the arts of stealth, hand-to-hand combat, and swordplay. The difference is that Felicia isn't a sociopath who will kill someone without a second thought.

Yeah, she rarely steals artefacts, but she's been known to take on some jobs like that from time to time. It's mostly just data and other such things though.
Yeah there'll most likely be a scene like that, though I'm still yet to work out when and how. It would certainly give Felicia a reason to go after Violet at least, and that's pretty much what she'd want.
It's only anthros in the White Shadow 'universe', though by comparison Fran or Kaeman would likely coexist with humans. White Shadow is purely anthro-based though, so within that I try to keep the fantasy stuff to a minimum and keep it stylistically realistic, i.e. no dragons, magic, sparkledogs etc, but typical anime physics rules can still apply. That way, main characters can fall 2 storeys and not break their legs as well as jump rather high and take a beating, but they won't always escape without injury.

Oh yes, the anime physics, but that doesn't mean that the crime syndicate-guy's cronies are incompetent people that shoot a barrage of bullets and never hit the hero right? I always imagined that if you created evil assistants that actually manages to shoot the hero once or twice and still have him (the hero) escape barely alive, gives the hero a better impression that he's really REALLY good at what he does, and not just some lucky guy that's being confronted by incompetent cronies that can't shoot well.
On another note, did you ever try using CGI for this scene?

Tried, but the only thing I could find at the time was Daz3D. That program is damn near impossible to use, it feels completely unintuitive to me. I may try SketchUp next time, though I'll have to spend time getting used to it's interface.
Gimme Maya or 3DStudio Max anyday. I'd have something workable in a few minutes.
