Just a character I created the other day which my friend helped me give a backstory to; Madtalkers are strange, bony creatures with an upturned skull head, large ears with a slight inward-curve, extremely skinny forearms with but two digits, and a single human hand for a lower limb. They come to the insane, speak to them and tell them truths about the world only they know. The sane don't often see them.
