Kangaroos are my second favorite species behind otters, and after sketching that last drawing, I thought the character looked pretty cool, so I figured I'd make him a new character. (two in a week, holy crap!)
I named him Nestle after a friend remarked that his colors reminded him of Nesquik. =P
I'll have to do some life drawings of kangaroos so I can get a better handle on them. He came out looking a bit like Temiree in a few ways. xD He'll go through revisions I'm sure, like any character. One possible one I foresee is toning down the saturation of his belly fur color. I might also bring back that head fuzz like in the last drawing.

Hehe, there's three ways I spot that make him look very similar to Temiree:
1.) They both have the exact same face
2.) The feet pars are similar
3.) The overall muscle tone/anatomy is a bit similar
Aside from that, he looks good! Just re-work on his anatomy a bit and I think you'll have yourself a true 'roo :3

Their feet aren't "quite" the same. Tem has four toes while he only has three, and Tem's biggest toe is towards the center of his body. Nestle's is in the center of his foot. It could still be "more" different though, yeah. And I agree with the rest.
I'm planning to do a bunch of life drawings so I can get the two of them differentiated more. I can't blame my style on how similar they look. =P We'll just have to see what progress I make with that.

Heh, don't take it personal, I was just adding to your artist comment because you seemed to be on the topic of why they looked similar ^^;
Heck, most of my wolf-ish characters look the same, so I know I have to work a lot on adding more character to the designs. I'm just saying that once you get some 'roo drawings under your belt, this guy will look better ^^
