Also, has anyone else seen the protests and riots going on rn? It’s scary. Most are peacefully protesting and spreading a good message, but some are looting stores and rioting, selfishly taking and stealing by taking advantage of massive problem. I hate it. And the police are responding to people not wanting this brutality with what do you know brutality!
I know this because I watched the news, seen countless videos of people being beaten and pepper sprayed, and read on these riots.
I’m scared. I’m just 14, and my dad works in the city as a paramedic. It’s scary knowing that all this hate and violence and destruction to innocent people just because one officer couldn’t refrain from murder.
I don’t want to have to be scared to go to the city because people are being beaten and looting stores, and it’s heartbreaking to see these store owners freaking out because they’re being ripped of everything due to something they can’t control.
I’m a big pacifist, and I know that there isn’t any perfect world, but this is just depressing.
I hope someone can level with me on this.
