Here is a picture that I did of a new original character that I had created named Melissa Rover, who is a female golden retriever that happens to be quite skilled at martial arts such as karate. Because I wasn't too busy doing anything else at the time, I was in the mood for wanting to draw a picture featuring a new character that I was feeling inspired to create after playing various fighting video game series such as "Street Fighter" not too long ago, and she would also be closely affiliated with my karate-skilled tanuki character, Tammi Nuki. For this picture I've done, I was able to draw a simple picture of Melissa in her normal outfit that would consist of a red gi, a black belt, and a pair of black and white sneakers. Because of her being portrayed as a fighter, I decided to come up with a unique profile for Melissa as a way of properly introducing my character to everyone else:

BACKSTORY:

Melissa Rover is a female golden retriever who is born and raised in a Midwestern city somewhere in the United States, and she comes from a family that lives a luxurious lifestyle. Even though her family practically has everything given to them due to how much money they're able to make on a regular basis, Melissa actually felt that she should have to work hard in order to get whatever she wants, so she decided to take up sports back when she was a young dog, and her most favorite athletic activity that she was able to participate in was karate, which became something that she was quite good at while growing up, and Melissa even managed to become a blackbelt right before her senior year at high school. Upon participating in various karate tournaments across the world, Melissa was able to meet Tammi Nuki, who also happens to be a blackbelt in karate, and the two would actually become close friends while occasionally sparring with one another in every tournament that they participate in together.

As you can probably tell from her appearance, Melissa's character design is completely based on that of Ken Masters from the "Street Fighter" series, since he was pretty much the inspiration for such a character that I had created, and I also wanted to create an appealing character that would become the best friend and occasional rival of Tammi. When I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use a hot pink texture for the background, and I decided to fill up much of the empty space by adding white stars in different sizes. The picture turned out very nice after being completed, and it's sure to please my friends and everyone else as well.
