The English version defines him as a Space Simian, though the Japanese version gives him the name Grifforzer, which could imply that he's a Space Griffin.

And remembering that the original series of Super Sentai, who inspired Power Rangers, Goldar and Scorpina had a happy ending the two married and had a beautiful baby (which thank God did not pull the face of the Father) and Rita Repulsa surprisingly behaved as a gentle and loving Grandmother

It was one of the few season 2 episodes that occurred between when Tommy lost his Green Ranger powers and when he got the White Ranger powers.

I do remember that Goldar thought of her as cute both in the movie and in various episodes of the tv show (at least the spanish dub which I saw when younger), and as my favorite character, I always did kind of imagine him trying to romance Kimberly, and you know I was bummed to see the "Beauty and the Beast" episode be about Zedd wanting Kimberly rather than Goldar.

This is definitely a cute pic, hope to see more of these two from you. And yes, I always did see Goldar as more of a lion type of guy than a monkey. Seriously, a monkey? Sometimes one had to wonder what those writers were thinking. lol

Goldar must've put Kim under a strong spell to get her that close to him. Heck he was one of Rita's few monsters I ever found to be attractive but for some reason I don't know what that could have POSSIBLY been, she was always grossed out by him.

Im more of a Finster fella meself. But I will admit, this is a very cute image to what has been alluded to in many more (and less tasteful) images on the internet. ;3

I remember them on all the time, having new episodes every weekday before and after school.

Awesome! Well normally what tends to happen is that someone gives you a description, pays you and then you work on what they specifically ask for. However I like to, more so these days, give the artist leeway to draw it how they want. So long as the main characteristics of my Fursona remains in tact (obviously) then yes, basically draw it in your style in whatever scenario you see him fit into. =)

Goldar is "The Beast" and Kimberly's "Beauty" is how blessed love ... him in his simple wisdom unites even those who should be "enemies" do not see silly things like physical appearance because he sees is the inner beauty, which unites all conspire to separate ...
