Those round green things that aren't the leaves? Yep, those are mallow fruits. You can make mallow meringue with them if you have enough, but alls I got is this one plant.

Where/how do you get them?
I finally planted some stuff just in front of the patio...hopefully the evil slumlords wont weed whack it...
The blackberries haven't bloomed yet and I'm not sure if the boysenberry is still alive...I can't tell...both were from starts from a tractor supply place...I keep wanting to do stuff from seeds but...
the tomato needs pruning but I'm worried Ill kill it...the red pepper starts are still alive and I learned the more you pick the ore that bloom...I now have a bunch drying...
any advice for a small time starter with just a few buckets and a 1'x10' slot of dirt?

they're common lawn weeds across the US afaik. I got my first one from my mom's yard and that's where i got all the seeds i grew this one from.
Not sure what kind of advice I miht have unfortunately. Except that if the dirt doesn't have much nitrogen in it, clovers definitely help with that, being a legume.
