Here is another drawing of my bear, Bucky, with one of his best buddies. This was a gift from
DaiCymru, a long-time friend of mine here on FA and one of the finest and most generous G-Sheps that I know.
Dai and I both enjoy bicycling, so sending our characters off on a joint ride seemed like a natural thing to do. This drawing was done by the wonderful
FortunataFox who went so far as to draw the cycles to match reference photos of our own bikes. The terrain around my own house is practically flat while the hills are much steeper where Dai lives. Fortunata gave us a nice compromise with this scene.
Dai may seem a bit overdressed for a recreational ride like this one, but at least he’s loosened his tie. Bucky, on the other hand… Well, don’t even ask me how he manages to sit on that bike without pants.
Please fave the original work in Fortunata’s gallery: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/36434735/ and while you’re there, check out more of her excellent art.

My, you're much to kind to me, good sir! This is a ride we'll have to commence someday. As for my clothing...well, I need to put more of an effort into looking good, while that comes naturally to you. ^__^
I'm so happy with how this turned out, and I can only thank you for agreeing to join me.

I kinda get the feeling, since 'round here in R.F. they're mainly considered an excessive witchcraft, (just like mudflaps on a car)
Well, since my w202 had offroader's guards, i figured, there's no shame in cleanliness in the pedal world too. And yes, i find amusing (when not deppressive), people are surprised by things, we used to have as standard.

I took the bicycle to a shop for some overdue repairs about 18 months ago. The shop owner informed me that the bike really wasn't all that good and the repairs would cost more than it was worth. He gave me the option to trade it in on something new. Those fenders were one of the main reasons I kept it.
Well.. that equation has too many X's and Y's in it... my experience shown, that present bikes are same as cars: made to look nice, be used gently and disitegrate naturally in about 3 to 5 years. (just like wallmart plastic bag)
Jokes aside, stock chaindrive on 2016 b'twin lasted me ~800 miles, before throwing off the chain completely. (stars looked like needle-pillows, and you couldn't put a child's push on the pedals, without chain to go skipping the teeth)
So, yeah, the Machine_of_Death™ is 4 years old now, and already been completely rebuilt by yours truly.. (not to mention, the rear lower lever attachment is about to go all funny and crank me up around the fence some day) now i feel foolish, that i've traded my 2003 Tornado, few years back to then, cause it lasted me a youth-worth of joyrides, and still was able to go to the salesman by itself. *sigh*
