I've been in a particularly good mood as of late. Primarily, because one of my job interviews apparently went very well and things are looking good for the employer to call back and bring me on-board very soon. Should this be the case, I'll finally be able to move my family out of my mom's house and back into our own place again. *Twirls about on one foot before striking a pose* Woo-hoo!
In other news, I also just discovered today that there is a way that I can, without surgery, improve my vision! Turns out, with a properly shaped, contact lens, my battered eye can be smoothed out enough to cut back on the amount of distortion I see through on an every day basis. *Flutters* Gabby-Gabby-Gaboo!
Of course, both of the above are pending and are not completely guarenteed to go through. However, the prospect of clearer vision and a job worthy of my talents is just too good to not allow myself a moment on Cloud 9. :)
Thanks again to everyone for all of your help and support in getting me this far despite all the obstacles that have been thrown my way. I honestly couldn't have made it to where I'm at now without you.

You guys are the best creative and collaborative pals a Yoshi-Duck like me could ever ask for. Many, many heartfelt thanks for all the inspiration and good times. I look forward to sharing even more with each of you, as well as everyone else, in the near future.

And I was wondering what the haps were with your recent appointments. It's good that things are looking up, and you could possibly improve the lookiness! Or at least keep it from getting worse. Either way, I'm way happy for ya!

I was pretty stoked, too, when my new, cornea specialist told me they could get me to see a bit better. Hard to believe all it takes to get more out of what I got is a plan, plastic lens pressing against the surface of my eye. Definately shows how its the little things that can make a big difference.
