Yeah I told em what I did for fun... they were asking tons of questions at first, I showed them what people did in suits... yes even that, showed them the infamous CSI episode... and they could see it was overdone a little... but they laughed, patted me on the back and said... have fun! After which I had to explain that I am not doing those things in my suits... but I guess no one believes ya anyway. So, as long as I dont harm or abuse anyone in the process of suiting... they are fine with it ^^

And they could see at first hand experience what it was like ^^

Thats cool. There's still lot of American furries who are scared of telling their parents they are a furry or have a fursuit.

Well, I guess in America there is still a sense of "Don't tell us you are different, cause we don't want to know". I don't know for sure, because I'm from Holland... but I always have that feeling when it comes to not being like the rest of the flock.

Perhaps in time... years even... it will get easier?
