You know. I know this is a serious subject which I extremly support the people demonstrating. However, your description made me remember the "Doctor WHO" Special named:"The day of the Doctor". In the Episode the viewers would hear a small speach from the War Doctor which ended with the words "No more..." I thought it is a funny coincidents that your description of the pic ends with the same words. Anyhow, keep going on the street for this. And if you get the oportunity, kick the President's ass for me because of him threatening to use the millitary against the demonstrations.
Our first amendment rights are being stripped away one after the other, we're going to be like China soon if we don't do something to stop it.
But the government just keeps fighting back harder and harder, all while we chant WE KNOW OUR RIGHTS right at them.

there is some scary framing going on here...because, he used the word rioters...not protestors... the news said protestors, conflating the rioters with the protestors. There is a distinct difference, in some cases, the peaceful protestors STOPPED the more violent rioters (in many of those cases the peaceful protestors happened to be black, and the violent ones happened to be white...which is interesting)
Anyways, like I said before, I completely support the sentiment and hope you stay safe. Accountability is quite important.

He made a clear distinction between the protestors and the rioters. Half the comments didn't even watch the whole speech they just took the title as a fact. It's only 7 minutes of your life to watch him ramble on about protecting people from the violence. (which wouldn't be necessary if the police just did their job in the first place....Actually, none of this would be happening if the police didn't do terrible things to begin with, so there ya go.)

Did you even see the brutality he displayed at st John's church? That was a peaceful congregation and he personally declared that it was in fact a riot. The clergy were driven from their own chapel, reporters were beaten and gassed. All so he could threaten the nation with even more overwhelming force.

Well. I was wrong. Besides poor word choices, his actions- or I guess Bill Burr's?- to gas and forcefully rush the crowd...I just don't understand why. It really feels like a misstep, and no one seems to be covering this...
Now I could argue it looked like they were on a street, and not in a church, or...well no, I'm not going to go out on tree branches, looking for good reasons, because it was ridiculous. I watched the footage by itself, then I watched Legal Eagle's video with his, somewhat volatile framing and wordplay, Then I tried to find info from Fox, and they called the crowd 'rioting nearby' ....I mean, in the title of the video...
Ugh, the propaganda is so stupid on both sides... "Peaceful Protesters" while people are being beaten...and "Rioters" while the cops beat and chase away and tear gas a crowd...
Again, I could bother arguing the crowd was walking toward the police, and didn't disperse when asked, which is their right to disobey, even if it's on a street, I mean, it had buildings to the left, and a park to the right, but...whatever, that's not important, the situation was handled badly, it was a ridiculous moment, and the lack of coverage is just a big sign of how it's not something the right side is proud of.
This is quite frustrating. Genuinely upsetting on so many levels. Hope more of this kind of stuff is caught on camera, well, I should say, I hope this kind of thing is an outlier, and not the norm...

also, I am glad you're very constitutional about it, since our rights are important, I just want every side of the equation recognized. it's a bit scary if you're framing this as America vs the elected president. It's not.
I really love your work and respect your stance, I just hope you're getting information from all sides.
It's really easy to see how skewed and ridiculous things can be framed if you look at a far right or far left take. Both sides can manipulate the information in terrible ways, videos, pictures, (un edited ones, unlike the CNN coverage of the hurricane...) are what I like to fall back on. When it's reality, when it's verifiable fact that cannot be argued with, then we can proceed with thought from there.

I have a friend who was a police officer who really helped me through a rough time in my life and acted like a free therapist, always calming me down during intense situations, he would get me away from the other officers; sit me down, and always console instead of threaten...
... If it weren't for him I can assure you I would of been shanked in prison or worse. He saw the good in me and let me go, multiple times after knowing I was calmed down. I wish there were more officers like him, for he saw the good in me and put my mind at peace.
Not all police are the bad guys looking to lock you up, and the officer I mentioned prove that fact to me. Before he came along I was a troublemaker, before he came along I stole things by parkouring rooftops simply because I thought all officers were brutalists and that this would be a "proper" way to screw them over without doing any harm to people.
Like I said; if it wasn't for his kindness I'd probably be dead right now, or paying off debts for the rest of my life getting blood money; either way 2 dark options I never had to take...
