History: Born in Unova, she met her trainer and Joseph's mother, Symone, while doing cleaning work at Pokestar Studios. Her at the time husband had put a baby in her as she always wanted, but he seemed antsy about being a parent, much to her own chagrin, but she pressured the biker boy to stick around and take care of the kid, who grew up to be Eris! She was quick friends with Symone, and suggested that when she settled down with her own family, that her kids would be Symone's childrens' first Pokemon! She eventually had a second child, Ula, before her then husband ran off, presumably intimidated by family life, forcing her into the single mother life, much like Symone. Together, the two of them moved to Alola to have a clean slate and a fresh start- Gloria stayed at home and went to school online, and eventually got a teaching degree while Symone worked her way up the ranks of the Aether Foundation.
She was always a little hard on her own daughters, pushing them constantly to be the best versions of themselves they could be and, in her youth and inexperience, possibly pushed the two a little too far- Eris suffering from performance anxiety in most everything she does to this very day, while Ula developed an unhealthy inferiority complex. She's unaware of the two's overwhelming battles, and of Symone's childrens' rivalry in general. Today she's just a school teacher at Malie City Academy, and lives a simple live working 9-5 and coming home to be a housewife to no one.
