A long time ago, a friend of mine got me a cool sketch commission of Murk that I only recently found. Upon inspection, the style used for this commission was actually remarkably simplistic, but very effective with a very harsh backlight obliterating the background. Out of interest, I made a few attempts to replicate it and the results looked amusingly angelic.
