Ahhh man, I'm always so weak when it comes to plague doctors. Something about getting to play with all those browns and stitches and buttons....it's a lot of work to have to draw, but it always ends up being fun too! c:
Plus when I get to toss a squid in the mix, i really can't complain, hahaha
Envisioned this babe as a sort of emissary to the surface who was all gung ho about it until they realized that uh..oof, they're gonna have to interact with humanoids, huh? They're not about that, they just want to nap : (
They have a little tadpole buddy to give them emotional strength though : ) !! For some reason the humanoids don't seem as turnt about the babe, but man humanoids are weird, how is letting out a baby braineating tadpole out to play 'torture'? They don't get it ;///

My last D&D campaign, I played a Plague 'Doctor' who just pretended his way through all the medicine, every 'medicine' check was a bluff check, it was really funny. It has always been a desire of mine to play an Illithid character, but it has yet to happen. I got real close in a different campaign, my friend homebrewed a race of psionic deep sea elves, and I played one of the unearthed arcana(which are basically drafts that Wizards of the Coast releases for people to playtest) classes, the Mystic, who's basically a psychic. Was so much fun! But a combination of two of my greatest loves... If he's still available when I get paid tomorrow, there's no way I'm not buying him.
Oh my goddddd hahaha holy shit, that sounds so fun. I love it when you can roll weird characters like that, my og dnd boy Christoph was originally a pc that didn’t like...remember he was actually an eldritch abomination because he bluffed so well he fooled himself, hahaha
