Probably not a lot that really needs to be explained about this one, other than it being another rather rough and unpolished adult-angst grump about being in the ass-crack of Midlife Crisis right at the same time the entire world has gone crazy. There’s a couple of pokes at Social Darwinism in there as well, but I think most readers are canny enough to figure that out for themselves.
