If you lose followers over this, you're probably better off without them. Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I have always believed that people should be able to have reasoned debate about their beliefs, especially when the discussions are ones that need to be had.

Debating is good but at the same time if I present facts to people not willing to hear, what's the point ya know? Some people would rather sit in denial and ignorance sadly x.x

Sometimes people also need to understand that there is a time to speak, and there is a time to listen. And it's a hard and very counter-intuitive lesson. No matter how hard the words are to hear, and no matter how great the temptation to try and insert your opinion, sometimes you have to understand that it is not time for you to speak, but to listen.
The first part of being willing to hear is forcing yourself not to talk, but instead, to listen.

Listening instead of talking, is sometimes the most difficult silence of all.
Sometimes, it's the only thing that you have any right or any place to offer.
And indeed, it is not my right, nor is it my place to do anything but listen, and listen honestly.
