I'm glad to hear you noticed these details, I wanted to bring as many as possible without adding too much visual information. The place looks real because in fact it is, and I live in it, the dreamcatcher I made myself with twisted wire and some strings, a bit unortodox but it is what I have ^^;
I spent some time with my nieces today and they asked me to draw raccoons for them to color. I thought of this picture the whole time. My little scribbles were nowhere close to what you have here, but it just shows that when I think of raccoon art, you are the first that comes to mind.
Aww thank you, that is really heartwarming to hear. Hope you and your nieces had fun drawing and coloring. If you want, I got a few child friendly arts of cute animals you could print and color. Sometime ago I had a friend suggesting me to try my hand at illustrating kids books, I haven't done any real project but every now and then I do some cute arts for myself ^^.
