A monster among dragons ~ (Macro size comparison)
When I said Zaigorn was the size of a frigate, I was serious. A frigate is usually 100 meters long on average and this big dude exceeds 140 meters and 4000 tons. He almost falls into the category of a destroyer.
Zaigorn is abnormally giant when compared to other primal dragons that only reach a maximum of 1/3 the size of Zaigorn. This is because the white feral has slain a multitude of dragons, and when a primal dragon kills another of its kind, he can absorb some of its energy (because primal dragons are essentially energy).
Ever since he killed his brother out of passion, Zaigorn has been involved in one murder after another, either for concealing his complicity or out of hatred. Willing to go to the extreme in order to protect his freedom and protect the freedom of those he still loved: his kobolds. Those beings who shared part of his soul and who saw him as the only one willing to fight for them. Zaigorn went on to kill his father and mother, the respective king and queen of the largest and most powerful nation in the ancient world.
And having inherited the throne, the white dragon's bloodlust never stopped. With each death perpetrated by his hands, Zaigorn's complicity became more and more obvious until allied nations and other dragon houses declared open war on the murderous king with the aim of removing him from power. Act that only made the situation worse.
Zaigorn's rivals and other warrior castes realized very late that the white dragon had become dangerously powerful on the sly. And with the help of the kobolds, who hailed him as a father and as a protector god of his kind, the assassin king threatened to destroy everything established by the mighty dragons.
The world was plunged into decades of conflict and horror as the assassin king claimed more victims on the battlefield and his kobolds threatened to destabilize the foundations of draconian might. It was as if Zaigorn's hatred was such that he wanted to exterminate his own species in order to bring freedom to every Kobold in the world.
Some say Zaigorn went on to kill up to 200 dragons, others say even more. And with each member of his species he destroyed, Zaigorn grew more and more powerful. So powerful did the white dragon become that his wings covered the sun and his feet made the ground tremble. Among the survivors he was called a volcano, calamity and firestorm, because everywhere he went he brought flames and destruction.
And just as the great dragon grew, so did his hatred and fire. Drunk with power and revenge, Zaigorn vowed to burn the entire world if there were still kobolds who were slaves to any other species. His hatred, anger and savagery had led him to be fire himself, uncontrollable, free and destructive.
It was only in a desperate and suicidal act that the last dragons of the world managed to stop Zaigorn, not by destroying or defeating him, but by threatening what he loved the most: his creation, the kobolds. Faced with the threat that each of his sons would be destroyed, the great white dragon could only surrender his flame and submit to his executioners.
Later the victorious would discover that Zaigorn was eternal. To the horror of all, his wounds always healed, and his soul could not be destroyed like any other dragon. Zaigorn had become a primordial dragon ... a demigod. His power was such that it had transcended the flame of a dragon and its energy burned like the sun itself. And seeing that they could not destroy the ascendancy of the white dragon, the victorious decided to chain and contain Zaigorn for all eternity, until a way to destroy his flame was discovered or it extinguished after eons. Meanwhile, the rest of the world would believe that Zaigorn had been destroyed.
And although they had contained the calamity, the white dragon had fulfilled part of its promise, managing to destroy almost 1/4 of the world and ending the glory of the dragons. The world would not see new draconian empires in at least 800 years.
Zaigorn for me is the fire itself, the essence of boundless freedom, uncontrollable passion and embodied will. It has many similarities with his creator.
It is understandable that the little kobolds loved the great white dragon, who was also one of the only dragons who valued them as living creatures and not as slaves. For 800 years the kobolds have mourned the absence of their protector and father Zaigorn.
But they did not much believe the story that Zaigorn had been destroyed. And many hope that he will return one day.
He will return ~ the volcano will roar again, and the fire will judge again.

Thanks for the appreciation and thanks for reading the lore of Zaigorn.
But even if his desire to free the kobolds is noble and sincere, Zaigorn brought a lot of chaos to the world and many many innocent dragons died at his hands. He is like an ambiguous hero, loved by his kobolds and despised by his victims. Zaigorn is a dragon that follows the flame of his heart, regardless of what happens.

That's because he has heavy wings, and when he's on the ground he walks like a wyvern eheh. That helps to give the feeling that everything in him is heavy as a mountain~

Oh final work looks amazing.
Imo he is a hero because his goal was freedom of others. Yes, the dragons may hate him, but they clearly did not fear him enough to grant their subjects freedom. And, they imprisoned him in the end, too.
One who holds captives is happy while the many captives suffer. One who loses captives suffers while the many freed captives are happy. Freedom is always the answer because then only the few oppressors will be unhappy.

Zaigorn is kind of an ambiguous hero, he has fought for the freedom of all kobolds and treated them as the living creatures. But he is also a wild fire, burning everything in his path in order to achieve his dreams. But there are always sacrifices on the path of dreams.
I love him as a character because he is FIRE, he is the fire that burns, but he also warms those who need heat, he is the fire that destroys, but at the same time creates new opportunities in chaos. He is the concept of the dragon itself! Pure fire, passion and freedom.

It's a shame having to resort to the depravity of violence to instill change, how amazing it would be to look beyond ones pandering and choose to better this or any other world by considering others and making that choice together, we could create a paradise for all, but alas egotism doesn't make it easy. *Hugs for all* I am referring to in general context, Handsome Dragon to. :3
I personally love details on his body. I would argue getting hit by his wing when it is this muscular would have similar effect as getting hit by his front leg. Honestly i really like detail on tail as it i would say he can do nicely turns but close air-o-air combat would not be his preference. From design alone I would not really send a combatant on him on the ground as he can probably give you quite a punch with his limbs and tail itself would hammer the competitor as blunt guillotine. I also like how the head is quite small but still in ok size to make it not really worth it to engage on such a part without making sure other threats are dealt off. But i would ask, does he use some kind of magic to lift up or accelerate bcs get such colossal body moving only on wings could be really exhausting.
I also love how you made planes around not in line but scattered.

He and most of my anthro dragons are made of energy, so they can adopt feral forms without problems and without getting too tired. Their feral forms are usually for ground bombardment and rarely for air combat.
Glad you enjoy it! It's a pretty nice size comparison.

[...] (because primal dragons are essentially energy).
Wouldn't that mean that it is possible to extract his energy and either store it or split it up and transfer it to other dragons?
(if you don't have the magic abilities/artifacts, I may be able to provide you with some stuff xP)
