Funny that when a criminal and junkie is killed by police after they get called on him, everybody loses their minds.
But when another guy gets killed after calling the police to help him (while being a law abiding citizen), nobody cares. Like Tony Timpa.
Guess which one of the two examples was white.

Just passing by, not wanting to add wood to the fire or start a argument in anyway. The man should've NEVER been killed, as no one deserves to be killed (unless it's necessary for the justice and safety of many innocent people). But it has been stated that he was arrested for aggravated robbery, and assault (I want to also add drugs, but the media is flip flopping on this fact, saying he did and didn't, so I'm leaving it out.) several years ago and some time before he was stopped, bought some merchandise using a counterfeited $20 bill. "Criminal and junkie" probably isn't the right set of words, but it can't be ignored that he does have a history. Again, I'm NOT saying he should've been killed, the cops who did the stop are being charged, as they should be, their actions was too overboard over a fake $20 bill.
The point is that when white people die by the hands of the police (most cases of police brutiality), nobody bats an eye. But killing a black person leads to riots/protests.
Tony Timpa called the police by himself, they kneeled on his neck for minutes, and when he died, they joked about him "falling asleep" and didn't even call ambulance. Nobody was ever charged, cops remained in service, media were silent and nobody ever protested.

You say that as if the "black lives matters" movement was solely asking for the police to leave black people alone, as if George Floyd was the only black person ever killed by police brutality, and as if when the police arrived, he acted like a dangerous overdosed maniac about to stab anyone with a pencil. And all of that is wrong. NOBODY should die at the hands of criminals wearing a police badge like George, Tony and many others did. That is what all of those protest are all about, they're not just about one isolated incident.
BTW the black lives matters organization exists because in the us black people get killed by racist officers way too often, and several more times than most of the other ethnicities. I'm not even American and even I know that.

I'm just going to quote myself.
"NOBODY should die at the hands of criminals wearing a police badge like George, Tony and many others did."
It's not about "who get killed the most", "who sparks the biggest outrage" and all that. It's about fixing the system to make the police an institution the american population, if not the whole world, can trust and work with in good term.
Someone else made a very elaborated answer to you underneath I entirely agree with, so I'm not really going to repeat what they're saying.

Hey man no offense but you are flip flopping. You are trying to take both sides while jumping around trying not to offend or ignite anger. He should not have been killed period. No but this and that. The police are not judge, jury and executioners. It takes a while for you to die from being choked which means they knelt on his neck until he passed out and continued until he died. If he was resisting then restrain him. They are trained and out number him. Plus you are trying so hard to ignore all the other pointless deaths that have happened to innocent people in the same way. Killed because the police force are filled with racist white supremacists and they tell them to treat every other non white race more violently. All those whites, armed with guns, threatening law makers and police, storming a government building. Not a single arrest or attack or injury or anything. They stood there, up in the policemen's faces daring them to fight them and disrespecting them. Not one of them grabbed any of them and beat them or hurt them. But as soon as any black person does the slightest thing they end up almost beaten to death or in a body bags with everyone trying as hard as they can to jump on each side or justify the death. This is not okay.
Notice now that it is blacks that are mad suddenly they find their tear gas, tanks and pepper bombs while when white supremacists march with guns and threaten lives the march by their sides to protect them. They pick on non whites the most and that is what they are mad about. Stop running around saying 'He has history as if that softens the blow how he was executed illegally. And may I add to the people who are saying that the men responsible are being dealt with. Notice how people had to riot for ten days to get any justice or they would have just let them go with barely a slap on the wrist. Let's not pretend that fixes everything because people had to practically scream bloody murder just for murders to be brought to justice. No one says Floyd was a great person but the police let a lot of very bad whites off with barely even as much as a warning. Even now their police chief is plotting how to save them from the fate they deserve. So don't walk around trying to change the subject. You are no different from the All lives matter' or 'Not all cops are bad' people running around trying to trivialize the bigger picture.

The subject was on Floyd, between me and the person I replied, no one said anything about the other pointless deaths until you did with your response to me. Which I said that no one deserved to die in the hands of the police (unless like I said, is necessary for the safety of many innocents, like a terrorist trying to commit a genocide for example). The person I commented, spoke as if Floyd didn't have a history, I was just simply laying down what has been stated and what has been fact about Floyd's past. I again say, that the way the police handled Floyd was disgraceful. I wasn't trying to change any subject, but simply say that he did have past and the most recent thing his did (the 20$ counterfeit), was not worth the aggression and the taking the life of Floyd. You can literally Google Floyd's past, and from the articles I've see, they each said that he was arrested for robbery and assault, but one and another would also mention drugs and another didn't say it. In which, I say ANOTHER TIME that he didn't deserved to die, you seem to have ignored that when I mentioned it TWICE in my post.
Between me, frywolf (the person I replied too), the other unnecessary deaths was never mentioned, until you mentioned it in with your reply. Those deaths of those individuals should've never happened either! I again said, that no one deserves to die in the hands of the police ( with the only exception, being that reason I given earlier, about it being necessary for the safety of others).
Between me, fyrewolf , and you. You are the one seemingly trying to place words on my keyboard that never exited in my mind in the first place, and paint me as a bad guy for simply just saying "hey, that's not entirely true, here's what has been said and stated as fact and true", you are the one not seeing my intention and ignored that I didn't want to get into an argument or any heated discussion.
But, I will ask this, it's just a simple question, that only seem to leads onto more questions. why is it so controversial for someone to say "All lives matter"?
Yes, black lives matter, of course they do! It cannot be stressed enough that black lives matter, from the USA to around the globe they matter! But what about Asians? Hispanics? Do their lives matter too? Of course their lives matter too! Why have a movement, that combats racism and only name it for one? If it's to battle racism, why isn't it for all? Why have a movement, that's named to care for African Americans, but yet more African American's are being effected during this time from the riots and looting? A African American business owner literally spent all night, cleaning her destroyed and looted business, while someone from the protesters filmed it on their phone, while the owner speaks to them in outrage? A 77 year old African American police officer from St.Louis Missouri, was shot and killed for simply doing his job and he was FILMED dying on facebook live, but yet no ones talking about that, no ones caring about David Dorn's death, a man who was a father, a grandfather, a great friend, a great man, and from what I heard was the kindest and genuine man one was lucky to know, but no one seems to care about him, only a select few now once it was surfaced and finally got media attention! Yes of course Black lives matter, but does a death of a African American only matter when a white police officer does it?

You have to be joking. Just about everything you said just shows how you don't get anything that is going on and don't understand at all why everyone is angry. So instead I will just answer just one of your questions. Why is it controversial to say all lives every time a black man dies? It's because it is a stupid and weak claim that only serves to misdirect and distract. Of course all lives matter. But apparently America has to constantly remind everyone of that. There has been tons and tons of proof that blacks are actually and purposefully targeted by the police. They even have documents telling them to be harder on then. Meanwhile whites walk around with guns and actually massacring people but get much better treated and defended than any black. Notice how when those people stormed a government building, wielding weapons, disrespecting law enforcement and threatening law makers. Any arrests. No. Any beatings? No. Any deaths? No. But now blacks are mad them and anyone associated with them are suddenly being pelted with tear gas, rubber bullets and flash bangs and their right to protest being violated every day. That is why they are mad. It happens all the time and every idiot always drag out the dumb straw man arguments so everything can go back to normal and they can attack blacks in peace again. And let me add another explaination why it isn't a big deal when blacks kill each other. Because whites ochastrate it. They made sure that they stuffed them in the slums, destroyed their chances to rise up and blocked them from achieving greatness. And even if they do they destroy them any way they can. So they end up in gangs and violence then call them thugs and criminals while they rob everyone blind and send them to jail for decades while they get away with it. It's just like they did to Mexico, Venezuela, Haiti, Puerto Rico, African and even America. They mess you up to the point that you are in dire need then turn around and call you disgusting, vile and crap. And people like you fall for it and do exactly the same. You don't see that is their plan. And when their white buddies do terrible things they call them misunderstood or not quite mental sound or confused. But when you are black or Latino, the slightest thing they do you get beaten, thrown in jail for decades or killed and everyone nods their heads and say you deserve it.
Like right now the only reason they are being so violent against protestors is because they are black or if you are with them. Now suddenly they remember they have tanks, gas grenades and pepper bombs. When the white supremacists march through neighborhoods with armed weapons threatening to kill people, they sit on the side to defend them from people protesting them. Not to stop them or anything. To stop the anti fascist people. No beatings. No arrests. No nothing. They gently escort the gun toting hate filled maniacs who have records of criminality and violence. But now Floyd who has a criminal record suddenly it's 'Why don't they talk about how he was a criminal' as if that changes what was done. Why don't they ever want to talk more about what the white criminals do and their past and kneel on their necks and beat them senseless. Instead they coddle them, hide their faces and claim they don't want to ruin their lives. No one cares what he did right now. We are concerned about the growing trend of blacks being killed by police for almost no reason most of the time and people being okay with it. America's law enforcement needs serious reform and it's huge corrupted elements ousted. But then people keep coming up with nonsense like 'not all cops are bad' or 'all lives matter' or Floyd was a bad person' like children trying to justify eating most of the cookies because you left about three of them behind. They killed him illegally and unjustly and it happens too often. THAT is what you need to focus on right now. Anything else is a distraction. If you want to talk about any other injustices or problems we talk about that later. This needs to be addressed now.

I think all criminals such as murderers should be subject to the law at its fullest. My belief and message is not directed towards race but how we all are accountable for our actions in inaction towards injustice. Racism is in this era, thankfully is not commonly supported but the fact that certain individuals on their power trip and roles in important fields is worrisome as well as our democracy as a bigger picture on the line. NO race gets a free ticket out of crime regardless of their race and neither should bright law abiding and contributive Americans be shot in their own homes or executed whilst being cooperative and unarmed. There a lot of stories of bad people in all shapes, sizes and color doing horrendous things. We as Americans should ban together to denounce it as it comes in many forms. That is all my post relays without twisting anything into a bizarre narrative.
I agree. The cop(s) are either charged or will be charged, they're off the force, and they will never hold a peace office rank ever again. George should not have lost his life as there was no reason for the cop to kneel on his neck with the other officers standing around doing nothing. However, Black Lives Matter is irrelevant until black people stop killing each other in cities like Chicago and Detroit, until there's fathers in the homes, and until they stop glorifying gangsta rap.
I think the point is being missed here :/ This was meant to convey the common sense and basic difference that is taking place from all aisles. There are problems that the general good can unite against. I feel as if a lot of these responses aren't reading the middle ground of what is trying to be conveyed.
Agreed, except for the centrist part at the end. What we see in American politics is not two extremes. It's republicans on the Far Right and democrats on the Center Right. The reason "both sides are bad" is because they're actually the same side with a few differences. Both wish to uphold their profitable status quo and racial divide is key to this. The way forward is not through "compromise" and "agreeing to disagree" with bigots and parasitic capitalists, for that only serves to create more of them. Our path forward is through standing together with the oppressed and acknowledging the failures of our society, and if necessary, disassembling that society. We should strive for a world where people do not become evil, rather than one where good and evil coexist. Martin Luther King describes this as the difference between a negative peace (absence of tension) versus a positive peace (presence of justice)
