When I first discovered the fandom the two sites which really cemented my place as a furry were  KatEllis's Kit n' Kay Boodle (which I still plan on writing a fan story for as soon as I can!) and Bernard Doove's Chakat's Den. Ever since then I've always told myself I'd like to have a secondary Chakat fursona, and here shi is!! :3

Meet Chakat Moonshine. Shi wasn't raised on the chakat homeworld, but rather in a human home on earth after hir parents were killed by a mechanical malfunction on board the ship they were all travelling in. Shi was given a human name by hir new parents, and though they did their best to treat hir well shi never truly fitted in on earth. Thus upon achieving adulthood shi has decided to return to Chakona, taking on hir own Chakat name in an effort to seize back the life shi hasn't had until now.

Unfortunately her name isn't simply a title based on hir physical appearance or personality. It's hir way of pointing towards the habit shi picked up on earth; the love of a nice drop... or bottle... of alcohol. It's what allows hir to forget about the fact that shi's never felt the bond that Chakats are so famous for, and to maintain the carefree personality that shi believes allows hir to be liked by humans.

I hope to write a story featuring hir in the near future, but even if shi's just a character in my mind I'm very glad to have a picture of hir! :) This sketch was drawn by the awesome  Loupgaros, who's getting MARRIED in just a few days time!! :O Go show her some looove. :3
