"Like this?" said Tails the fox, a little doubtfully, as he sat down on his new potty. Vanilla the rabbit had pulled down his shorts and taken off his nappy and told him to sit on the potty and give it a try. Tails still wasn't really sure, though - he'd seen the big boys standing up and weeing in the big metal thing in the boys' toilets, but he hadn't seen anyone sitting on a little plastic potty before. Was this really the way it's supposed to go?
Still, grown-ups usually seem to know what to do, so Tails gave it a try. But nothing happened, and he eventually stood up, looked down at the empty potty and said "I don't think it's working..."

<LoL!> To a youngster, especially one who is very into things needing batteries, I can believe the two-tailed fox would think that it was the 'potty' and not 'their body' that made what needed to happen, uh, happen.
This is super clever as it gives a look into Tails' love and strong understanding, even at a young age, for engineering while making a very logical correlation between how
1: User sits on potty
2: Potty removes stuff that diaper once was used to remove
3: Toilet empties and pants are put back on by user (With assistance from caretaker, if necessary)
