Short Story:
It has been two years since the end of war. Two years since I found him, my child, Vez. Whatever is origins are, those golden eyes are not enough to make him a monster. But...That's not how everyone is thinking.
How many of them insulted us, how many tried to threaten us? I lost the count. But all of them, I swear, will never touch him. If they do so, I don't care about the repercussions, I'll make them pay, make them suffer, so they feel what it is like to loose someone you love.
I was afraid that he was going to stay alone because of his eyes, but that night, he made a friend, a young Nevrean named Yoko. I think I'm soothed that he his finally not alone anymore. Perhaps with time, people will forget Her bloodline...I hope so.
He may not be of my blood, but he is my son, the only one that has been granted to me, and I'll do whatever it takes to protect him.

Some explanation:
-Vez has golden eyes, does that means... :
->Yes it does. In my story, Vez is one of Rain's forgotten child, like many others. He does not have anything special except those eyes.
Nayreen rescued him during the coup panic in the fallen Shigu Kingdom.
(he his a non-canon son of her of course)
-Wasn't Vez Alren's son? Then why does Nayreen think she has no blood in common with Vez?:
->At this moment, Alren still hasn't reappeared. Vez can't remember who his father is, and only remembers his mother because of the others making fun of him due to his eyes. So Nayreen also doesn't know that Vez is Alren's son, and so, that she is technically his aunt.
Plus let's say it, Vez looks way much more like Rain when he his young than Alren. Nayreen can't guess that alone.

Very cute artwork, and a loving one who dont gives a thing if Vez has golden eyes or not.
I would do the same. He looks so happy within, hope he dont get into troubles by other ones. But if, Nayreen would get very angry and never underestimate a Sergal of age/gender or fur color. Im not talented with drawing, so i dont see any problems. This artwork is too cute and emotional... I dont see mistakes, i see the love in this one!
