I think Rick Griffin has posed a similar question, but the jury is still out.
In my world, most guys seldom wear much more than shorts below the waist -- why bother when you've got a good coat of hair (how may UPS and FedEx guys wear shorts even in the winter)? If dressing informally, wear a long top (Tee shirt or 'Jersey') -- anything under it is optional. Somebody might see your twig and berries?
