Crossover pic featuring some of my characters and some of
Ebonyleopard Extinctioners characters. Whatever is being discussed here, it does not bode well. The evesdropping Vague had better hope she doesn't get discovered by this bunch.
Photoshop over an inked drawing. Despite being a fairly simple design, that background was a huge pain in the ass to color. Reminds me of why I generally don't like to color things digitally.

My local peanut gallery made the same comments as I was working on this.
Short answer: There's no way in hell I'm going to draw a full course meal in perspective with 5 characters and a background unless I get paid a lot of money.
Long answer: This is the period between ordering and actually being served. Besides the amount of work involved, adding a bunch of stuff on the table would distract from the interaction between the characters. The type of drinks were supposed to reflect the personalties of the characters (despite a veteran drinker telling me "there's no way that combination of alcohol would be served!") Salem doesn't drink alcohol at all, so he just had water and possibly soda (or chocolate milk) in the glass he's holding. Mr. Scott would have some sort of expensive wine, and I imagine Stalker and Wylde would drink hard liquor straight.
Another person who saw this in progress commented that a swanky restaurant would not serve fried motzarella sticks as an appatizer. I beg artistic license, as I've only been to swanky places once or twice, and the appatizers were nasty, and I like motzarella sticks.

Meh, I think when restaurants get swanky enough, customers* get to make otherwise-odd requests, so it's still in-character if one of those guys wanted mozzarella sticks that badly.
* At least those customers with connections... or perhaps in this case, extortion.
With Jack's expression, I'm simultaneously curious about what he's thinking... and glad not to know. The fellow to our right reminds me somewhat of the feline alien Space Pirate Brak in his original incarnation, as opposed to his 'special' Cartoon Network self.

Jack's mostly amused by what's going on, and in particular amused by Wylde's grumpiness (over something that happened earlier). And while he's curious over wether an agreement will be reached, he has no vested interest in the outcome either way, so can afford to be a little flippant during an otherwise intense discussion.
