Oh, you missed the character redesign? Back in April, the artist decided to consider new shapes for the Beasts of Prey. Tye is a friendly, welcoming character, and round shapes are softer and friendlier. Plus, Tye is a chef, and you know the old saying about "never trust a skinny chef".

(Okay, the saying only dates to 1963, but there's good reason for it. A chef should taste his food while cooking, in order to recognize and act on the need for changes. Over large batches for numerous days, this adds up to quite a few Calories. Thus, a skinny chef isn't likely to have as much flexibility and control of their cooking as a "well-rounded" chef like Tye.)

Like a lot of folks, I quite like the softer Tye. He looks so nice and huggable! If you don't like him this size, well, you're welcome to your opinion, but he's not your character or mine, and the Beast in charge likes him just fine.

Nice work! Tye looks grr-riffic, and the pancakes look almost good enough to eat! (For anyone else, you probably wouldn't get the "almost", but I'm not much for pancakes, regardless of color. They look delicious, though. Touch of malt in the batter?)

Nah, that's the baking powder. I just assumed malt because it really helps the taste; that's why most restaurants use it.
