I'm sorry to hear that you had to put her sto sleep, but atleast she's with her sister now...

I've had to bury a few sweet loving pet rats before.. I have a char on a mud that thanks to a few of the wizzes there has a locket with my favs picture in it...

Im sorry Mir, i had really hoped that you could have spent more time with them both. I know how much you loved them from what you told me about them.. Life is cruel and heartless to those who work the hardest....

I'm sorry for your loss, Mir. *hugs* It's always hard when you lose a pet. My pet dog Mandy (a sheltie collie) had to be put to sleep a year and a half ago due to really bad osteoporosis in her lower back. She had just turned 7 years old when it happened. Mandy was well-loved by me and my family and it was hard for all of us when she passed on.

I've decided on getting a cat for my next pet, but only when I feel that I am ready to take care of a pet again and get some other priorities set straight first.

It never ceases to amaze me how much love that little body contains. I sob shamelessly whenever one of my rats dies, and when we 'plant' them we usually plant them in the lawn (to prevent 'disturbances' when gardening) and my mom started planting little English daisies over their graves in place of headstones (bad for the mower, lol). So now she literally waters most of her best friends every day. :)

I'd say best wishes, but the loss of a rat is never easy.
