Before Colleen became my waifu, there were a few other animated ladies that held my attention. One of them was Shao Lin, the Chinese golden monkey from "Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys." And while she had been overtaken by the collie from Road Rovers, Shao Lin still has a special place in my memories.
I tried to draw her as best as I can, but it's my first time drawing a full-bodied monkey, so I had trouble drawing the feet. I also tried to keep her lithe body shape, but clearly I'm better at doing curvier bodies. Still, was good fun drawing Shao Lin! Hopefully I can give her another shot in the future.
