...could be very useful for protests, considering I doubt either modern surveillance and facial-recognition or old-style mugshots could be used while you're affected, you could protect others at the protest who didn't invest in some cream, and counter-protesters or riot cops who want to get into a fight would have to deal with a significantly more durable opponent than they may have expected. Just make sure you applied enough to not shift back either mid-protest or when you're cooling your heels in lockup, and that you didn't stupidly bring any ID or your phone or anything to the protest.
They can't hold you without charges for more than [insert regionally-appropriate time period here], so as long as you're just being held for intimidation purposes rather than because they can charge you with anything and you've applied enough of the cream to exceed that period, you should be free and clear!
