Besides building foundations this is all that remains of the American Brass plant in South Alabama. This conveyor was once working 24/7. Moving brass pellets 100 feet down to the small railroad yard that was once here to deposit the pellets into awaiting railroad cars for shipment. Now that's nearly 30 years ago. And that belt hasn't moved since.
