Another from the first round of commissions, a Type 5 level of finish completed back in April.

My first time drawing an arthropod. Pretty sure this was the first time I've done multiple arms too. Lots of interesting challenges and opportunities to play with :3

Well, I'd be happy to.
First off, this is a character in the HC SVNT DRACONES roleplaying game by Severus (https://www.furaffinity.net/user/severus).
This species is called exonymphs, and they are illegally created humanoid versions of nymphs, the setting's version of insects. Long story short, instead of trying to created a fully-functioning and varied insect ecosystem on newly terraformed Mars (and later Ganymede and Venus) it was decided to created a single species who can fulfill every role necessary for "planetary maintenance". They are capable of spontaneous mutation and absorbing information by eating other nymphs as a means of transmitting vital information between hives. Both abilities which the humanoid versions inherited, hence the brain eating thing.
So, I'm afraid there isn't very much of a proper culture there. In terms of the game's timeline they only just showed up, and they usually have to live in hiding since they're not supposed to exist at all. Plus, there's the whole technically being a murderer thing since each of them has to eat a brain and absorb a person's memories before they become sentient.

The only brain eating/gaining memories thing I've got are the sand lizards(?) since they've got a slow digestive system they can absorb whole memories and personalities.
They also became sentient that way and the settlers used to fight them till some's recently deceased uncle suddenly cried out with the creatures voice...the settlers now use the Tyrracci as repositories for souls and visit them to ask advice and rejoice.
It's been so long since the peace and with the Tyrracci only consuming the dead that there's no worries about murders any more.
The major conflict comes with a scientist for the "alliance" (how many alliances are there?) studies the records/histories and wants to try to use them as an Ansible:
