How does Unarmored Defense work for Barbarians you ask? Well, let Mar demonstrate for you.
This is one of the ones that worked better in my head compared to the execution. My interpretation of unarmored defense is that the barbarians are still getting hit, they just don't care. I initally was going to have Mar pulling an arrow out her shoulder, but I didn't want to draw something that bloody so I thought Mar just casually catching a weapon by the blade might work okay. In retrospect, it doesn't really highlight the unarmored part of the feature at all. Ah well, experimentation works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't.
