I've been on a net for a LONG time now and one thing I've realized is that you can tell a lot about how people truly are when they can post things anonymously, knowing there will be no repercussions for their bad behavior. I've been on a number of forums and seen this pattern but recently I had the displeasure of dealing with an entire army of trolls on a game forum I won't name (its a text based porn RPG, you figure it out) as I hold no animus against its creator as they are not responsible for the dregs that infest their forums. I've been thinking long and hard for a few days (while waiting for this pic to be finished) about how I should respond on the forum to them and what their responses would be to that but then I realized you shouldn't "feed the trolls" and despite my desire to post this pic to that forum or a link to it at least, I think I'm going to take some of my own advice I've given to others and simply walk way as there is nothing to be gained from arguing with people who either disagree with you or hate you for what ever reason or are simply there for the Lulz, since doing so only adds to the annoyance you felt from them to begin with.
Also, I'm ending any further association with said forum (can't delete account but can hide email notifications and log out), no longer reporting bugs/typos, and have canceled some fanart pics for it I had in the works.
So if any of those viewing this pic have to deal with this sort of thing in the future, feel free to post this pic for them so they know just how few shits you give about their opinions and comments.
