Hey, what's up? So we have pride month and I finally decided to get a pride icon to go along with it. I usually avoided doing something like this in the past, but I now really felt the urge to show my colours. Mostly it's part of me overcoming my own hang-ups with my queerness. I sort of felt in the past like I shouldn't be counting as a member or as a voice of the LGBTQ+ community, because I'm in a hetero relationship. I am and always was bisexual. I had male and female partners before, but just because I'm in a happy relationship with a Bella, it felt "off" for me to identify and represent myself as such. Today I recognize that that was kind of nonesense. I don't become a different person, because of that. I don't lose my queerness, like someone would lose their car keys. It's part of me and always will be. That's why it felt kind of important to me, even if it is just a silly, cute little new icon.
