Well.. kinda
It's been a while since i've had a chance to update everything, but anycase.
The 320i is now gone to the yard, but not before i brought it back and got most of the goodies from it.
This is the replacement. For all you people stateside, it's a 325i Touring, or stationwagon.
So far it's managed to receive the wheels (as seen), the Limited slip differential, all the uprated bushes, rear shocks and top mounts, seat, stereo and Sparco wheel from the 320i
Also recently, i had a bit of a disaster with this car. Firstly.. the old fuel tank was rusted out, so i couldn't put more than 5-6 gallons in without it pissing it back out on the floor. That's now been sorted...
Secondly, the timing belt jumped... to those non-mechanical type's it's what makes sure the engine runs in time. Mine jumped... and bent all the exhaust valves (Dead engine basically)
Thankfully a friend's stepped in and helped me out with getting the head overhauled after i'd dismantled the top half of it XD
4 weeks after the escapade started, and a sizeable bill later (on top of what i owe my parents for the tank replacement!) The engine was back together after a complete top end overhaul.
After sorting a few niggles , including a sticking rear brake, Finally... it's getting the same way as my old one was.
And this one's going to Germany... i hope in August.. maybe again in October for a cousin's wedding too.
Cue ideas for detors to 'The Green Hell' or The Ring. :3
