Practice practice practice!

I decided to work on this guy for draw a bird day and to say sorry to that poor raven character of mine for neglecting him the past few days

Definitely not finished, I was just trying out a sketch where I try different ways of shading for different parts. He looks rather dashing, I think, despite the fact that his featherbeard appears to be glowing. Or perhaps he looks dashing because of it!
