She has been confirmed by devs to be a girl.

The fact that female lombaxes has been debunked lot of time ago (during dev conferences on events).

So are you saying that Angelina from the second game has been retconned in some way? Since she was supposed to be a female lombax and it was mentioned in at least one game that unlike male lombaxes, female lombaxes did not have tails.

Sigh. This'll be the third Playstation I purchase because of those evil people at Insomniac! So if Clank is getting paired with a female Lombax (which the Reddit crowd seem to have christened Mallet), does that mean Ratchet will meet a female Clank?
