TABS - Fanmade Philippine Faction Red
June 12 comes with the Philippine Independence Day, so I decided to come up with the idea of sketching each unit for the Philippine Faction in Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. Be mindful that this is just fanmade, so please don't take this too seriously. Click here for the blue version
Units from left to right:
Eskrimador wields two sticks and its attacks and effectiveness are mixed between a Clubber and a Taekwondo.
Juramentado is a suicidal warrior who runs or lunges towards the enemy with a kris sword, and can withstand a dozen of projectiles and melee attacks, but not rocks and ballista shots.
Moro Warrior wields a kampilan sword and a shield in a similar manner of the Knight but weaker.
Lantaka is a small but heavy cannon held by one operator and can still shoot like a regular cannon but weaker.
Panabas is either a forward-curved sword or a battle ax, used as a combat weapon, an execution tool, and a display of power; Someone wielding such weapon in this concept could be a Datu in a manner he swings like a Jarl.
Katipunero is a soldier wielding a rifle of various ranks in a secret society founded in the Colonial times and involved in multiple revolts against the Spanish colonizers. My idea is that it shoots like a musketeer but reloads quicker.
Hukbalahap is a Communist guerilla movement founded by farmers in Central Luzon to fight the Japanese during the World War II, before shifting its aim at the Philippine government; this unit is designed to be a woman holding a different rifle due to numerous female peasants recruited in the Hukbalahap; she is supposed to attack like Deadeye except more rate of fire and less accuracy.
Floro MK-9 is a submachine gun designed by the Philippine firearms manufacturer, marketed to local security forces as a low-cost alternative to imported submachine guns; A soldier wielding two of the submachine guns would likely fire like a Gunslinger except more direct at the crowd, although bullets can now be deflected by the Samurai and the Shogun.
Lapu-Lapu is the Datu of Mactan considered by the Filipinos to be the first Filipino hero due to fighting back against the Spanish, although it was just a few hundred Spanish men led by a Portuguese explorer who ran a favor for Lapu-Lapu's rival; Taken from the idea used in Mobile Legends (not that I know well), he would be more durable and stronger and would yield two kampilan swords.
