Those who know my characters will probably be confused by this. What are these two characters who look very similar to Eno and Lars doing on top of a destroyed tank?!?
Well, the answer is that these two are the original Enorach and Lars, before they even had these names. Back then Enorach had leopard spots, green eyes and he was taller than Lars, who was not a ginger, and the two were pretty much childhood friends, living in a world based on our current times.
Of course at the time (I was 12) I didn't think about the setting as a whole, and decided to scrap it completely. I still liked these two characters, though, so when I created a medieval fantasy setting I just changed their names and threw them in, with some modification. Over time the new setting went from a low-magic setting to the more historical-like it is today.
Well, now that my setting is polished and functional, I wanted to bring them back for some occasional artwork! The time period would look pretty much like the 90's in our world, from a technological point of view. While in most adanced nations non-humans are treated as equals, in many other countries they are only now fighting to obtain equal rights. Lots of civil unrest, small local wars and world powers shifting.
The island where these new versions of Eno and Lars (I'll have to find names for them) live is a contested territory, with some people looking for independence and a couple other countries claiming ownership. Enorach and his parents live in some sort of "Herimash reservation", where they could go on with their lifestyle without being disturbed too much by humans. After the last war the Herimash have helped several humans refugees who had nowhere to go, including Lars. His city was shelled, his family is nowhere to be seen, so he just decided to stick with his new fluffy friend, and the two became quickly inseparable...
...also, when I first created Eno and Lars they were gay as fuck.

Hahahaha "they were gay as fuck" ...that was good XD.
It is so nice to get to know this glimpces of their "past", not only becouse they are unknown to many, but becouse their ocational nature, keeps thoose stories/worlds alive.
...and for characters I (and meny others Im sure) got to deeply estime over time, this little pics are open windows to what their lives could have been.
...lastly, thats an important thing here -their lives- couse as well as very few other things can do, this creative expresions are very much alive in all of our hearts.

I've recently posted as well some earlier, older progresses of my character, and I must say I LOVE seeing how they took shape over time. It's extremely interesting to see how things were in your setting before, as they were still developing!

This is an interesting change. Nice incorporation of your story and the picture here. These two look so great together, their expressions are so full of content and happiness.
