2012 art, another one of my favorite characters (and favorite drawings, it seems, as I re-drew it a few times between 2005 and 2015), Sawyer.

He's a pudgy, dopey hyena kid that spends half of every school day in the time-out corner. He's also gotten in trouble at least twice for trying to eat his classmates... but he's a good kid otherwise. He's actually fairly clever, if not a bit awkward, and is very good at building things. The phrase "mechanically inclined" comes to mind.

But for now, he's sitting in the corner, wearing his dunce cap and "stoopid outfit", doing that thing where he flicks his lip like the crazies/stupids in cartoons do instead of paying attention to whatever the teacher's going on about.
