This is probably one of my top five favorites from 2012... Silverlance in his feral/Geoterran form, treated as a separate character from his anthropomorphic form. The setting was vaguely inspired by those Nether Fortresses in Minecraft, bridges between towers tucked into mountains, spanning over a lake of lava. Pretty metal.

Not really sure how to describe this further, or even how to tag/keyword it really... it's just a serious and dignified sort of piece and I like it, a welcome change of pace from my usual silly art.

I wound up doing some digital redraws of this one later on, as I transitioned from traditional art over to digital art.
