Creative Point of View
Synergy (from the Greek syn-ergos, συνεργός meaning working together) is the term used to describe a situation where different entities cooperate advantageously for a final outcome. Simply defined, it means that the whole is greater than the sum of the individual parts.
Although the musician, artist, poet, and writer all interpret their unique degree of creativity through different mediums, they are able to come together to create a work that none could possibly achieve through their individual efforts alone.
An important thing to realize in achieving this end result is that, although each entity specializes in a different field, they all are capable of doing / comprehending the other's work to some degree. Thus, from the simplest of understanding of how the other operates, ideas can be conveyed and shared so that a superior, final product is created.
Regarding this image, let's take it from a customer's point of view.
Customer: I want you to create a scene where a haposaur couple proposes before an old, oak tree.
Sounds good, but kind of vague. Despite this fact, our team of four creative forces hits the ground running.
The musician begins to dabble with tunes that appear to set a mood while the writer works to create the scene. The artist provides conceptual sketches that illustrate how (s)he sees the scene and shares them with the other three so they can consider how they can input their concepts into a visual, final product.
Eventually, the team is able to create a picture like the one above for the customer.
Customer: Nice, but can we have it take place at sunrise with music that compliments the chirping birds on the Spring day this is to take place?
Notice that, through their efforts, the team got the customer to share more details on what (s)he wanted? This newfound data allows the team to go back and put their talents to work yet again at making a more satisfactory product. Eventually, through the harmony of the team's efforts, the picture you see comes to fruition depicting how everything ultimately plays out.
Thus, thanks to synergy, our team was able to take their individualized specialties, mesh them together, and create an awesome work that meets and exceeds the customer's expectations!

Indeed. For starters, they'd be a lot more interesting as they wouldn't be as cut-and-dry and/or typical as most seminars tend to be. Second, and most importantly, those in attendance might actually feel entertained by the references rather than feeling like they are still back at the office. :)
Overall, though, I'm glad you liked it. *Flutters* Oopa!

Hehe, on a less-serious note, last night when I was reading through our e-mails and remembered different business terms you brought up before and then, it made me think of Andy Sandberg's song, "Like a Boss" where he talks about synergy, and micro-managing and a few other kinda related manager things. :B But since it's a dong it didn't go into all the detail we did at all!
But this is another neat way to show how everyone's different parts all build on the scene in different ways, and how, once you get a good idea of all the different parts of it, you can make all the changes you need to in order to make it like it's supposed to be! :3
And it's a lot like what we're doing with the other project too - even if it's just two of us, translating the story into a smaller story, then trying to make it look good design-wise, and functionally in the finished form, aaand making sure it looks correct and appealing visually, all sorta revolves around this same idea! :3

Precisely! The ironic thing is that, until you put such things into practice, you never realize just how good you are at doing it. :)
As for business, someone like yourself would be considered a dream member to come aboard any group focussed organization. You not only are brilliant by your own right, but also creative enough to see beyond what lies in front of you. In all of my years of schooling and professional work, I have NEVER met anyone so capable of creating a synergy driven, work environment than you.
That said, I hope you are able to always take pride in just how well you are able to inspire and work with others. It's a very rare trait and one that will always take you far no matter where you go. :)
