Nah, I didn't base it on anything specific, it was just sorta me doodling (and a bit inspired by Star Wars, kinda reminds me of an AT-RT) but I have gotten a few comparisons to walkers from games, TV and movies in the past.
Not that I mind, though--walkers are just a really cool concept and a staple of science-fiction war zones.
