It's probably a good thing that Wa'al is almost invulnerable or I imagine that taking a rocket to the chest like that would have been fatal, though maybe this was a moment of heroic sacrifice in throwing oneself in the way of the missile to save your squishier companions.
At least it looks like Rapper can maintain his shape and cohesion while unconscious though hopefully once he wakes up he can re-integrate any leftover slime that splashed everywhere.
