I kinda disagree. It probably won’t happen because Disney has weird standards (and also there’s a low chance of a second season), but with episodes like The Longest Night and Poodlefall, there’s evidence that Hansel cares about Dylan on a deeper level than Poetry Night suggests. Now of course the episode order kinda messes that up, considering he’s kind of a jerk in Dotty Dancing/D Factor, but a lot of things suggest those should chronologically take place early in the season

I'm in the middle about it. I do dislike how it's yet another example of people automatically assuming that a guy has to have romantic (and ulterior) motives to give a damn about another person. But I'd be lying if I said I haven't seen cute artwork of Dylan and Hansel, either. And that's what swayed me to make this picture in the end.

Honestly, I see Disney not making it canon so they could still milk Dolly's infatuation with Hansel as long as they can for comedy and shipper validation.

I love the dynamic between those two. Very coded, but still noticeable that Hansel really cares Dylan in a "too deep level" to pretend to have only a friendship.

Sorry Dolly, Hansel doesn't have his cerulean eyes put on you...
