Another one of my faves from 2013, Dusty the Drifter sitting alone by his campfire. Roaming the desert highways on his motorcycle by day, Dusty often finds himself setting up makeshift camp sites at night, oftentimes little more than a small campfire and a sleeping bag on the ground.

This one started my interest in playing with blurs and gradients to make camping and cooking fires in art--I don't do it all that often, but I love drawing characters sitting beside a warm fire.
