2013 art, drawn in response to questions I get asked fairly often, like, what is up with Skunk Boy's nose? Is the snout somehow real, or grafted on? If it's just an accessory, what is underneath it? Why does it have teeth on the end?
Well...
Here he is with a convenient mystery hand tugging on his costume snout, revealing his plain, uninteresting, round human nose and face. The snout is held on with a cartoony stretchy elastic band, magically tight enough to hold the snout in place pretty much regardless of what he is doing, while still loose enough to not cut into his skin or chafe or anything like that. It's also magically stretchy enough to be pulled that far away from his face. As for the snout itself, it's just a simple, hollow black faux fur snout with a shiny plastic/rubber nose and two plastic teeth. He does have slightly more "animalistic" canine teeth though, a bit longer than you'd expect for a human (but not that much, you wouldn't notice if you weren't looking for that specifically), maybe what you'd expect from a vampire, although I didn't draw that little detail here for some reason.
It's gonna sting when the hand lets go of the snout and the bands make it snap back...

Thanks! Hands are HARD. I don't think I've managed to improve much past this in nearly a decade so that means a lot!
This might be due for a redraw at some point, it would be tempting to have that be Tex's hand pulling his snout but for as much as she likes to tease him sometimes, this might be a bit mean even for her!
