Oghren is awesome!

He's my favorite dwarf!

I kinda wish his side quest wasn't so short and there were more ways to raise his approval.

But he returns in Awakening so I suppose they've fleshed his story out a bit more in the expansion.

It's not that hard to raise his approval compared to other characters since booze is easy to get and he approves a lot for random stuff you do.

As much as I love the character, the berserker AI makes it so that he engages any enemy on sight, so he'll often run head-first into a fight and away from Wynne so she can't heal him. For most people, Oghren is the last character they acquire and by then, he's already up at level 13 or 14, so you can't really dictate his skill set all that much.

And yeah, the camp "dialogue" was hilarious.

"Oghren Approves (+2)"
"Wait... what?!"

It seems that he likes it when you tell people to shut up and fight, but dislikes when you avoid confrontation. It is also very difficult to get his approval low enough to trigger his "crisis" scenario where he challenges you to a fight.

You know, if you drank more wine, you would whine much less.

Alistair's nothing but a little pike twirler!

Ali is a pansy.

But he's kinda useful in combat.

Sadly no, not with what the game can do. Morrigan's close but she mostly gets frowny faces.

But I really love Oghren, he's such a funny and awesome character! He says the craziest things... So glad he's the returning character in Awakening but I haven't played it yet.

Personnally, I'm very very fond of Sten. :D Even though he's got the presence of a large stone statue, when you get him to talk, he's just so very deep!

Also that face he does, where he just raises an eyebrow, with nothing else moving, is enough to freak you out because he's got such an intense stare.

Yes~ Sadly, I asked him too many questions and usually made him grumpy. I need to offer him more cookies and cake. Sten talking about how he stole cookies from a kid was the greatest thing ever.

Or how he played "I spy" against himself in his cage for two weeks.

I'd buy Sten merc.

Reminds me of the characters in Asterix...
